Hill Top Shooting Complex on the 500M Range
Course of Fire:-
- Prone unsupported: 5 rounds slow fire 100m. CROW target. Time allowed 10 mins.
- Sitting: 5 rounds slow fire 100m. FOX HEAD target. Time allowed 10mins.
- Kneeling: 5 rounds slow fire 100m. RABBIT target. Time allowed 10mins.
- Offhand; 5 rounds slow fire 100m. CAT target. Time allowed 10mins.
Equipment:-
- 20 rounds
- centrefire rifle.
- wind flags allowed.
The weight limit is 5.5 kilograms (12.12lbs) including: bolt, empty magazine, sights & all accessories. Slings are allowed & must be weighed with all swivels, studs, screws
We have club centrefire rifles & Longshot Target Cameras available for members to use:
- .223 Remington 700
- .223 Howa Model 1500
Sighting in commences 10am.

Co ordinates to the 500m/50m Range entry gate are: 34°18’32.78″S 150°27’04.57″E
All SSAA (NSW) Illawarra Branch events are organised & held for Illawarra Branch members, due to limited space being available, members of other SSAA Branches can only attend if/when space is available by invitation and with a confirmed booking a minimum of 24 hours before the event. Anyone arriving at the event without a confirmed booking will not be able to participate.
